Tech Volunteering
The technology volunteering is a key part of our mission, as a driver of change and a tool for empowerment; we believe that tech volunteering has unrivalled power to transform both individuals and communities. Making it possible for anyone, especially those in situations of digital vulnerability, to acquire and take ownership of digital skills that meet their needs. This allows them to exercise their rights in the digital era and improve their quality of life in areas such as education, health, employability, and social participation. And they do this directly, mostly through in-person activities and working on the ground, closely supporting each individual and adapting to their specific needs.
Citizen Digital Sovereignty
We work to ensure that citizens actively participate in building the digital ecosystem, which involves understanding and claiming their rights in this new environment, contributing to shaping it, protecting their independence, defending the ethical use of their data, and protecting their privacy, among other things, to guarantee a digital ecosystem that is transparent, ethical, sustainable, and inclusive. To achieve this, we support organizations in the process of digital transformation, first within their organization and then among their communities and direct beneficiaries, both with training and tools.
Technological Innovation with Social Impact
We promote the creation, development, knowledge, and use of disruptive technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Blockchain, Quantum Computing, and Virtual Reality, always with an ethical, inclusive, and sustainable approach. From this perspective, we work on projects to strengthen digital democracy, fight misinformation, defend security and privacy, ensure the ethical use of data, and protect human rights, with the goal of promoting civic and participatory technology to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda.
